KNMF Profile User Office

KNMF User Committee (KUC)

The KNMF User Committee was established by end of 2011.

The call for candidates was open until end October 2011. See the list of candidates. Only KNMF Users who are no staff of a member organisation of the Helmholtz Association and who own at least one accepted KNMF proposal are eligible as a member of the KUC and for voting. More details can be found in the Terms of Reference of the KUC. The election took place until 27th November (e-voting), the KUC had a first meeting (telcon) on 3rd March 2012 and elected Sven Achenbach as Chair and Karen Lienkamp as Co-Chair.

    Information of KNMF Users
    An e-mail was sent to all KNMF Users asking them to register for the User meeting in October and informing about the election of the KNMF User Committee, and the Terms of Reference attached. All issues can be discussed in a round table session of the User Meeting. The call for candidates is open until end October 2011.

    E-mail check and list of voters
    All KNMF Users will receive an e-mail asking them to confirm that their e-mails associated with the KNMF User accounts shall be used for the electronic voting. A second e-mail will be sent to the KNMF Users who are eligible for voting. KNMF Users who think they should be eligible but do not receive a confirmative e-mail should check with the KNMF User Office. Only KNMF Users who are no staff of a member organisation of the Helmholtz Association and who own at least one accepted KNMF proposal are eligible for voting.

    Amendment of the Terms of Reference
    The number of candidates is exceeding our expectations. As the KNMF User Committee should represent as much as possible of the users' competences the number of seats was increased from four to six.

    Election (electronically)
    All KNMF Users eligible for voting received an e-mail providing a link to the online voting system. Make sure that you do not miss this e-mail - there is no other way to submit your vote. The voting system will ensure that each voting link can be used just once. No vote can be traced back to the voter. The results will be published in December 2011 here on the KNMF website.
